Through a mix of large group discussions and small-group breakout sessions, the summit offered attendees the opportunity to help develop dropout-reduction strategies that will work, as well as share their thoughts on how City Schools can better support student success overall.
The summit was supported by a grant from the America’s Promise Alliance as part of its national effort to spark conversations in all 50 states and 55 urban centers to dramatically reduce dropouts.
