Overview:

As part of Baltimore’s ongoing Graduating Great Kids efforts, The Annie E. Casey Foundation and the Fund for Educational Excellence, in partnership with City Schools, hosted a Parent Engagement Workgroup to ask parents to share their ideas and perspectives on how City Schools can better engage parents to support student attendance and achievement.  Attended by over 80 individuals, the Workgroup helped to identify what information/resources parents need to support their children’s achievement in school; and create a checklist to helps parents ensure their children are staying on-track for graduation and post-secondary success.  The Workgroup was supported by The Annie E. Casey Foundation and America's Promise Alliance.
